Privacy Policy

Provider: TXDRONECO, LLC · Last updated: July 29, 2026

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how TXDRONECO, LLC, doing business as Texas Drone Company (“Texas Drone Company,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use the DroneVision portal (the “Portal”).

The Portal is a business tool. Your account is provided through the company you work with or for (the “Client”), and the project imagery and data in the Portal are handled on the Client’s behalf under our Terms and Conditions. This Policy covers the personal information we handle about you as a Portal user.

2. Information We Collect

Account information. Your name, email address, role, and company affiliation, provided by your company’s account administrator or by Texas Drone Company when your account is created.

Sign-in and security data. Your password (stored in hashed form by our authentication provider; we never see it in plain text), session cookies, and sign-in timestamps.

Activity data. Basic usage timestamps, such as when you last signed in and when you were last active, used for account administration and to understand whether the Portal is serving its users. We do not use third-party analytics services or advertising trackers.

Content you add. Annotations and comments, measurements, and share links you create are associated with your account so your team can see who created them.

Communications. Emails we send you (invitations, password resets, and notifications) and any correspondence you send us.

What we do not collect through the Portal: payment or billing information, government identifiers, or precise device location. We do not sell personal information.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

  • provide, operate, and secure the Portal;
  • authenticate you and maintain your session across visits;
  • send transactional email, such as invitations, password resets, and notifications your teammates trigger (for example, a comment notification);
  • respond to support requests;
  • understand overall usage so we can administer accounts and improve the Portal; and
  • comply with legal obligations.

4. Cookies and Local Storage

The Portal uses essential cookies only: authentication cookies that keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.

Your display preferences (such as light or dark mode) are stored locally in your browser and are not sent to us.

5. Service Providers

We use a small number of service providers to run the Portal. They process data on our behalf to provide the service:

  • Supabase - database, authentication, and image storage;
  • Cloudflare - content storage, delivery, and processing infrastructure;
  • Vercel - application hosting;
  • Mapbox - map display and geocoding. Your browser connects directly to Mapbox to load map imagery, so Mapbox receives your IP address and standard request data when you view a map;
  • Resend - email delivery;
  • WebODM Lightning - photogrammetry processing of project imagery; and
  • DigitalOcean - servers for imagery processing and report generation.

6. How Information Is Shared

We share personal information only:

  • within your company - your name appears on content you create, and your company’s account administrator and Texas Drone Company can see your account details and activity;
  • with service providers - the providers listed in Section 5, to run the Portal;
  • through share links - content included in a public share link created by you or your teammates is viewable by anyone with the link until it expires or is revoked;
  • for legal reasons - when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Texas Drone Company, our clients, or others; and
  • in a business transfer - if Texas Drone Company is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case this Policy continues to apply to the transferred information.

We never sell personal information to third parties.

7. Project Imagery

The aerial imagery in the Portal depicts client project sites, such as construction sites, quarries, and solar installations. It is collected and used to document site conditions, not to identify individuals. People or vehicles present on a site may be incidentally visible in imagery. Use of project imagery, including demonstration and portfolio use, is governed by the Terms and Conditions.

8. Data Retention

We keep account information for as long as your account exists and as long as reasonably needed afterward for administration, security, and legal purposes. Content you added to projects (such as annotations and measurements) is part of the Client’s project record and is retained with the project. You can request deletion of your personal information as described in Section 9.

9. Your Choices and Rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing jared@txdroneco.com. For accounts managed by your company, we may refer the request to your company’s account administrator, and we may retain information we are required or permitted to keep by law. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy law; contact us and we will honor the rights that apply.

10. Security

We protect personal information with measures including encryption in transit, role-based access controls, and expiring signed links for file access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

11. Children

The Portal is a business service and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

12. Where We Operate

The Portal is operated from the United States, and information is processed and stored in the United States. If you access the Portal from elsewhere, you understand your information will be handled in the United States.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the current version. Material changes will be communicated through the Portal or by email.
